My wife fixed broiled brussels sprouts in kosher salt, pepper and olive oil and it was GOOD! You just can’t boil them or make them all soft.

I don’t mind brussel sprouts … I don’t like Lima Beans, or Turnips … ick!

Roasted brussel sprouts — YUM! Lima bean soup a la Mediterranean — Also YUM! Beets. Bleah. *Unless you want pee red to scare you mother. Then you eat a whole can by yourself. I have this on the good authority of one of my little sisters.

Again, I like all that stuff. Turnips are good with a pot roast. Cold dilled Sprouts are delish! And lima beans and corn (succotash) are also yummy!

When I was a kid, we had a dog who loved cooked vegetables. I used to sneak them to her when I was supposed to eat them.

I don’t like brussel sprouts. Lima beans are okay in some dishes. I like beets and just about everything else but cooked spinach. Spinach salad is good with the right dressing.

I like Brussels Sprouts, Lima Beans, Turnips, Beets, Broccoli, Rutabagas; actually I can’t think of a vegetable I don’t like.My adult daughter says Brussels Sprouts are…“nasty”. My wife agrees, but she has gone to the Philippines to visit family so I’m having Brussels Sprouts sauteed with Chorizo tomorrow night. Monday I’m having Black Bean Chili, extra spicy!
