My husband had made himself a beautiful roast chicken and brought it to the office to eat while he was working – the dogs followed him. He tripped and the plate of roast chicken and potatoes crashed to the ground – those dogs did not care that it was hot, no sir – the grabbed it faster than you could blink and ate it happier than a pig in a mudpit. My husband ended up eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and crying a little.

I’d rather starve than eat PB&J.

It was 94 in the Great Northwest yesterday and we happily grilled pork chops, next week it will rain, rain, rain. And we will still grill!

dzw3030, I know a lot of people who grill year-round. But I think Henry packs away the grill when he shuts down the pool.
