Time to be closer to the family. Read books (yes, people still read books), jigsaw puzzles, fireplace, popcorn. Who says a person has to be doing something every minute; sometimes just sit and think and if fortunate, count your blessings.

I’m with you Nate. I too am in the Pac NW. I dread November…my least fav month. Too much wind and rain!!It’s all about your ability to hunker down for awhile now.

So far, decent temps here for this time of year, first week of November temps are SUPPOSED to be in the high 60’s, 70’s Thurs and Fri then down to the 50’s according to AccuWeather and NOAA, here in Central PA, but I still want my summer back! Sigh!

And turning my clock back means it gets darker and darker earlier and earlier, and in Dec. it is dark by 4:30 pm, until the first couple weeks of Jan.

He has a point, although generally, I’d take November over December, January, or February any day.

Don’t mind wind, don’t mind rain, don’t even mind cold within reason…..do mind coming home from work in the dark at 5:00. I HATE standard time…would love to stay on daylight savings time all year.
