If the sharks could get at the rabbits, we’d solve two problems at once.

Sharks are constantly growing new teeth. They come in from the back of the mouth, and as teeth are lost, the new ones move forward. A shark may grow more than 30,000 in a lifetime. I know, it’s only a cartoon, but just as the suspension of disbelief is required for science fiction, so too for cartoons, but I just can’t totally suspend disbelief for this one. Next thing you’ll be asking me to believe that a person could really fly or that a person could acquire the relative strength and talents of a spider and swing from building to building on a web. ;-)

So, has this comic strip ‘jumped the shark?’ It does have sharks that, apparently, jump. I am also disappointed that this strip about pirates isn’t about pirates anymore, but talking animals.

Perhaps the last 2 posters shouldn’t even bother reading comics. Comics are just not so firmly planted in reality as they are apparently.

If you’re going to complain about bad shark-tooth biology, how about the fact that, so far as I’ve ever heard, sharks don’t have molars!

not to be picky, ok, I am being picky but Jonus’ stance is all wrong to get any power – his left hand needs to be below his right hand (at the end of the stick). as a hockey player this was something that jumped out at me :P

And, perhaps certain people cannot imagine what a fun and clever comic strip this is…of course. We start our day with it, beats the news. A big thank you, Chip.
