“It’s an opera.”

They should be glad it wasn’t “Madame Butterfly.” THAT one had me crying at least a couple of times during the course of the opera!

I mean, it’s not “Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald” sad, either…

Tonight’s (today’s??) strip is poignant and bittersweet, in a way!!

You like opera Nate? Who in their right mind likes opera? Oh, wait a minute…sorry Nate. Just kidding. (I better be!)

Perspective does affect our view of art, doesn’t it?

Most wolves have taste in meat, not music.

It’s ‘Rent’, only more old-fashioned.

They take paradise and put up a parking lot

I have never seen an opera but, the music from “Nessun Dorma” from “Turandot” makes me cry.

Time to break out the waterworks? Music can be sad, but this music can also move and inspire us.

More like a new housing development. About half the strip mall spaces are vacant these days (and I don’t just mean COVID days).

That music is very moving. I love it. But the wolves have the equivalent of “they paved paradise and put up a parking lot”. Only their story is really, really sad.
