That little stinker got Louie again!

You would think once a dog gets skunked it wouldn’t happen again. Dogs must have short term memories.

You’re a slow learner Louie

You can’t blame Louie for that. Nobody would get close enough to a skunk to figure out if they’re a mister or misses.

He may be loveable, but still dumb!!

Louie shouldn’t have gotten that close regardless.

I wonder how did the skunk know Louie is a he since Louie didn’t tell her his name. And the way Louie is drawn in the comics you can’t ever see whether Louie is a boy dog or a girl dog. As you see here today, even though Louie isn’t wearing pants like the other dog and cat, Louie keeps his private parts private.

It looks like Louie got zapped by the skunk, but with Louie’s usual smell, who’ll know the difference?

on two occasions, i have had wild skunks walk up to me and let me pet them, one was a mom with 3 kits

Is it my imagination, or does Chip seem to be in a funk these past two days? Both strips have been downers.
