I love this strip. Nate is back again. YES. (3rd time in 6 days). And he and Louie are having a great time together (reminding me of Calvin and Hobbs and the love between human & critter). Thanks, Chip. It was a wonderful way to start the day.
Today’s strip is perfect for the weather we’re having in Utah! Blizzard conditions and snow everywhere. Schools closed, businesses closed or delaying their start times, people working from home. Only thing to do is go sledding!
I had one that ended with a fence post to the shoulder. A friend shredded his jacket and back of his head going under a chanlink fence. Another went down a sharp bank, and punched headfirst thru the pond ice. Fun times.
I was saddened to see the sleds on the store shelves collecting dust this weekend. Not a single flurry all winter and it’s been in the 70s all week. I mean, I don’t like winter, but you should get at least one sledworthy snow out of it.

is that a snow saucer or is the Space Shuttle missing its nose cone?

As long nobody gets hurt Nate. That looks like fun.

I say even that third part can be fun. I don’t like the fourth part-having to walk back up the hill!

As long as it doesn’t involve a sewer grate, the crash at the end of the run can be fun, too. I’ve got to agree with @AllishaDawn on the walk back up.

The only un-fun part, to me, is the walking back up the hill.
