Unfortunately, I’ve seen a similar argument used to justify quite a few odd beliefs.“Not that long ago, scientists hadn’t even conceived of Dark Matter and Dark Energy. But we don’t know that we don’t know what we don’t know!Do we?

Bill Cosby said that the “genius” of kids is that they don’t know what they don’t know. In other words, they act like experts on matters where they have basically no education.

Black Swans are not rare. They simply had not been found by Northern Europeans until the 17th or 18th Century. There had been mentions of black swans in the classical literature. I have checked and can supply hundreds, or even thousands of black swans for the right price.
