verne: Rj, what's it like to be gleefully, willfully ignorant? rj: harder than it looks. rj: It takes grit to ignore facts and bend reality. some days I just want to throw in the towel and say, "teach me something"! verne: Then you remember how much you hate learning? Rj: It leads to thinking, which leads to questions, which leads to more learning. verne: the vicious cycle of education. rj: And unfortunately, the educated will always be with us.

The willfully ignorant seem to be growing in number. There have been SO many instances for me that cause me to wander what’s in the water of late.
