Bruises without impact aren’t that uncommon among older people. I’ve been getting them quite a lot lately.

That is going to leave a bruise and maybe a broken something or other, but the concussion should keep you oblivious to it.

I’m not sure whom I feel more sorry for, the cow for always landing on Vern, or Vern for always having the cow land on him.

I remember getting a bruie that bad and not even knowing when or how. It only happened that badly a couple times in my life, though, thankfully.
