And all those workers at online hobby sources. I used to feel bad about shopping online but there aren’t any bricks and mortar stores to buy from. The old joke was that the way to make a small fortune in the hobby business was to start with a large fortune.

The retail workers and cooking school students are outside too, which I am one of.

When everything started going weird and no one was sure how severe the lockdowns were going to get, I was given a document identifying me as an essential worker

I stock groceries, never thought I might be one of the only people allowed to go to work

I work at a grocery store four days a week. I wouldn’t be able to get there if the people who run the ferry system didn’t come to work too. Appreciation for everyone who is still going to work in these strange days.

Exactly how do turtles climb trees?

Isn’t it odd that the “Essential” Workers are among the lowest paid? There’s something terribly wrong with that picture.

The nurses, doctors, teachers, firefighters, retail workers, deliverers have to have something to eat!

I work in a restaurant, and we only shut down the dining room for a short time. So, I’ve been working this entire time, 45 hours/week. Gotta keep all those people fed!

Hats off to all the non-essential workers who discovered they really can do their jobs from home.
