The first time I rode in a Tesla (a taxi) the first thing I noticed was that it doesn’t have a traditional dashboard. Instead, it just has one screen that looks like a tablet computer. I was asking the driver about that, and I mentioned one thing in particular. I noticed that one setting was “Acceleration: Standard”. He changed the setting to show me what it was. It may have taken more than one second to go from 0-60, but the acceleration was so rapid that it seriously hurt my back, and I asked the driver to never do that again. Unless it’s a race car, I don’t see any reason to have quicker acceleration than it already has.
