Somehow, I don’t quite believe the dog’s case…

It’s called the “dog days” because that’s when the “dog day king”, Jörgen Jörgensen, ruled over Iceland.

Dog days of summer goes back to ancient times, where people believed that Sirius influenced the weather and caused extreme heat, lethargy, fever, and bad luck. They also thought that dogs were more affected by the heat than humans, and were at greater risk of madness.

For me every day are dog days – I have 3.

Ha! My cat could take out that pool with one swipe.

My cats could take out your cat-unless your cat was unspayed female.
