    Actually, it’s the pitcher’s shutout. The pitcher gets credit for a shut out (no runs scored in the game).

    Schroeder must be nearly as bad a pitcher as Charlie Brown! (Of course, years later the worst player on the team was right fielder Lucy, who batted around .000 and also fielded around .000!)
