A shutout is still possible… if they shut you out.

So yeah…for those of us who know nothing about baseball, this one’s flat.

Actually, it’s the pitcher’s shutout. The pitcher gets credit for a shut out (no runs scored in the game).

Schroeder must be nearly as bad a pitcher as Charlie Brown! (Of course, years later the worst player on the team was right fielder Lucy, who batted around .000 and also fielded around .000!)

On the positive side, Charlie Brown, the pressure’s off.
