Many years ago, I saw a PSA on TV. A guy showed his newly constructed gym set to a neighbor. The neighbor quickly pointed out the various ways the kids could get themselves injured or killed, and advised his friend to take it apart and start over. The guy says, “But I just built it,” whereupon it falls apart.
I remember a play set my dad had for my sister and me at one of the two houses he owns (not his residing house, a house he has promised my sister and me), do not know if the play set is still there, but it had (has?) two swings, a slide, and a pole, and I remember using it each time I was there, I especially loved the swings. A play set might be too dangerous for Lucy though, all the more reason to try it.
