I remember a woman in our neighbourhood who used to lock her kids out of the house on summer days. She had hooks on the inside of all the doors, up at the top where they couldn’t reach them. The minute they stepped out, click would go the hook in the eye. She even preferred they find someone else’s bathroom to use. “Do what you want, just don’t do it here.” (For all I know, she locked em out in the winter, too, but we only played together in summer—in part because I had bathroom and drink-of-water privileges over at my place.)
To all the people who hate Lucy so much. At least she has personality, character, and often, even a conscience. She was fun to follow. Violet, on the other hand, had absolutely NO redeeming qualities. I have heard that Schulz actually styled her after some schoolmate or an old girlfriend. In school, I knew a few Violets.

I was glad she slowly disappeared from the comic.

Does anyone remember Linus blowing bubbles in the shape of cubes, and stacking them and driving Lucy crazy? Or did I just dream this?

See if you can shoot some pool over at Snoopy’s (the dog house is much bigger than it looks from the outside). Just be careful of the van Gogh!
