Where’s Noah at a time like this?

I used a tripod to take a picture of a mountain. I was about to leave when an old man with a tripod said “You have to wait for the sun to come out.” The weather got worse, not better. I wondered how long he stayed out there waiting for the light to get better.

This, of course, became a recurring plot in the strip.

We had heavy rain on the 4th. Cancelled the fireworks!!

Well, true. It will clear up. Eventually. I mean, it can’t rain forever!

I see it now, this great big boat with two of each species aboard shows up and Charlie Brown is treading water saying “It’s going to clear up!”

“…glub, glub, glub…”

When it comes to baseball, Charlie Brown just don’t know when to quit.
