In these early strips Snoopy never seemed to belong specifically to CB

Just produce a good sneeze, shake off the coat and walk away with whatever little dignity you have left, Snoops!

So, early on, Snoopy wasn’t Charlie Brown’s dog?

That comes back to haunt ol’ CB in later years.

My dog would chew the buttons off.

Snoopy should put some holes in that jacket before CB gets back.

I really enjoy the older Peanuts strips more than the new ones.

First Jon puts Garfield in a jacket on the classic strips today, then in this classic series, Charlie puts a jacket on Snoopy’s nose. Abuse.
