There’s another one with Charlie Brown holding his hands together before the picnic: he was bringing the soup!

This may be as much self-esteem and self-confidence as I can ever recall Charlie Brown expressing. Bravo Charlie Brown, and Happy Velenrine’s Day. Now go after that little red-haired girl with the same bravado.

This is probably part of the reason he was so unpopular when he got older …
