At last, it rained last night. In this drought ridden area, the sound of rain is the best lullaby there is.

Maybe this is the same storm system that washed CB away on his pitcher’s mound? One of my all-time favorites.

And lucy wonders, yes she wonders, who’ll stop the rain?

One of the paperbacks in the 60’s I have, she says Rain, rain go away come again some other day. 2nd and 3rd panel she repeats it louder. 4th panel she walks away saying oh, forget it!

About like usual, Lucy is all wet…

“I’ll pencil you in, Lucy” ~ Mother Nature, as she walks away snickering, because she knows the rain will wash it away.

Now if she were in Spain she could simply avoid the plain.

I like how Lucy can yell louder than rain in the first and forth panels!
