Mom’s starting to ride her bike.

I thought that was Rerun for a second!

Wait til he sees a Penny Farthing bicycle.

I saw this one on the Peanuts Fandom site.

I remember those bike fender lights, you had some AA batteries in them but they didn’t produce much light.

My first bicycle had a friction generator/dynamo lights (front and rear) which worked by the bike tire turning a small wheel on the device. The faster you went, the brighter the light, to a point anyway.
