Charlie Brown and Lucy are huddled over a checkerboard. "It's your move, Lucy."<BR><BR> "I don't know why I waste my time playing with such a child..." Charlie Brown closes his eyes and yawns as Lucy crouches over the board.<BR><BR> "I took your king, Charlie Brown...Now I'll jump here, here and here..." Charlie Brown watches her, startled: "!?"<BR><BR> She looks up: "I win!" "WHAT?!" Charlie Brown jumps up.<BR><BR> "I can't stnad it!" He kicks the offending checkerboard into the air.<BR><BR> "I'll never play this game again!" He stomps on it.<BR><BR> He clutches himself and decides, "I've got to get control of myself..." He adds, "It's silly to carry on like that just because a little girl beat me at checkers..." Lucy is hiding behind a tree on the lawn.<BR><BR> He sits on the curb, surrounded by checkers, and declares, "I feel much better now...I'm calm and collected...I've put the whole thing out of my mind..."<BR><BR> "Good game, wasn't it?" Lucy asks.<BR><BR> "I can't stand it!!" Charlie Brown cries, giving the checkerboard another kick.<BR><BR>
