"I fel at peace with the world today..." Charlie Brown announces. He sits on the ground and plays with a toy truck and a shovel.<BR><BR> He wraps his arms around his knees and smiles. "I feel content and secure...I feel..."<BR><BR> "Don't hit me Charlie Brown!" Lucy announces as she runs past. "?" Charlie Brown thinks.<BR><BR> "Don't slaughter me, Charlie Brown!!" she adds as she runs off in the other direction. He stares at her, bemused.<BR><BR> "Don't run roughshod over me, Charlie Brown!!!" she races past him. He is confused "?!"<BR><BR> "What are you doing to Lucy?! You Leave her alone! I ought to sock you a good one!" Patty threatens, shaking her fist at him. Charlie Brown shrinks back from her wrath. Lucy watches him cower: "I didn't...I... But, I...I didn't..."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown shouts at Lucy: "From now on you stay away from me! You almost got me beat up! Stay away, do you hear me?!"<BR><BR> She sits on the ground and wails: "WAAH! You don't like me!"<BR><BR> "Oh, now, Lucy...I didn't mean exactly that...I still like you..." Awkwardly he pats her on the head.<BR><BR> She jumps up and races off, calling, "Don't hit me, Charlie Brown! Don't slaughter me, Charlie Brown! Don't..." He grimaces.<BR><BR>
He needs to get out and make some new friends.
