Lucy has a box of cookies and says, "One for you, Snoopy, and one for me.."<BR><BR> Lucy says, "One more for you and one more for me." They both eat cookies.<BR><BR> Lucy says, "Whoops! There's the doorbell.."<BR><BR> Lucy sets the cookies on the floor and says, 'Now, I'm going to leave these cookies here, Snoopy, and I won't want you to take any!"<BR><BR> Lucy says, "On second thought maybe I'd better count them first." She counts without knowing how. "One, six, eleventy-four, thirteen-eight, nine million twelvety-three... uh-huh.." Snoopy is puzzled.<BR><BR> Snoopy thinks, "She doesn't trust me! Just for that I think I'll eat a couple... she'll never know the difference."<BR><BR> Lucy comes back and counts the cookies again. "Now we'll know if you ate any while I was gone.. eleventy-four, thirteen-eight, nine million twelvety... oh-HO!"<BR><BR> Lucy points her finger at Snoopy and says, "You took two!"<BR><BR> Snoopy sits on the front step and thinks, "I'll never be able to figure that out???"<BR><BR>
