Charlie Brown holds onto his kite string. He turns around to look at the tabgled end, lying on the gruond behind him: "Oh, oh.." he says. Lucy sits on the ground next to him and watches the sky.<br> <br> Lucy asks, "What's the matter?"<br> <br> "I'm running out kite-string, Lucy..will you see what you can find?"<br> <br> She runs off, asking, "Does it have to be real kite string?" "No! Anything you can find!! Anything!....Hurry!"<br> <br> Lucy kneels on the ground and holds onto the end of the kite string: "I got a few things here that should help, Charlie Brown.." Lucy says. Charlie Brown doesn't turn around, but answers, "Good..tie 'em on.."<br> <br> "?" Charlie Brown looks on in amazement as he holds onto a necktie.<br> <br> and a cord..<br> <br> and a wire coat hanger...<br> <br> a teething ring..<br> <br> and a length of a chain link. "AAUGH!" Charlie Brown cries, jumping back and letting go. <br> <br> CLANK! Charlie Brown covers his mouth. <br> <br> He sits on the ground with his broken kite and makeshift string. He announces to Lucy: "YOU DRIVE ME CRAZY!"<br> <br>
