He says, "That's too bad.."<br> <br> He continues, "Our family is going on vacation in July.."<br> <br> They sit on a bench and he concludes, "If I'm going to catch anything, I've got orders to catch it now!"<br> <br>
The measles vaccine didn’t exist in 1957. That won’t be invented until 1963. A mumps vaccine was developed in 1948 but it was not terribly effective, and a really good vaccine wouldn’t be invented until the 1960s. The MMR vaccine was invented in 1971.
