"Linus is standing yelling, “You want me to leave?” “All right, I’ll Leave!” “You think I won’t leave?” “Well, just watch me!” <br> <br> Linus is walking out of the room saying, “I know when I’m not wanted!” <br> <br> Linus is sitting on the floor placing clothes in his suitcase. Lucy walks in and asks, “What in the world are YOU doing?” Linus replies, “Packing! I’m going to run away from home!” <br> <br> Lucy throws her arms up in the air and says, “HA! You, blockhead, you don’t even know HOW to run away from home!!” Linus looks up at her questioningly. <br> <br> they both are standing and Lucy is telling Linus, “You don’t use a suitcase!!! When you run away from home, You’re suppose to carry everything on the end of a stick! This is traditional!” Linus puts his hand up to his chin. <br> <br> Lucy lays out Linus’s blanket and says, “Here…Let me show you…we’ll lay your blanket out like this..” Linus watches Lucy lay out his blanket on the floor. <br> <br> The two are kneeling on the floor and Lucy is saying as she ties his blanket up. “The we’ll wrap all your things in the blanket and tie it to as pole.” <br> <br> Lucy is now knelling on the floor tying the wrapped things on to a pole, as Linus is watching and listening to her say.” This way you sort of preserve the traditional picture of the little boy running away from home” <br> <br> Linus holds up the stick as Lucy stands up to finish tying the blanket to it. Lucy says to Linus, “ Whenever you see a pictures of someone running away from home, He’s always carrying his possessions on the end of a stick…” <br> <br> Lucy waves to Linus as she says, “SOLONG! HAVE A NICE TRIP!!” <br> <br> Lucy walks towards the door saying; “Write” <br> <br> Lucy is standing on the front door step saying, “There he goes…the little boy running away from home…” <br> <br> Snoopy is sitting, watching Linus as he walks along carrying belongs tied up his blanket tied to a stick. I don’t know if Schulz realised it, but he actually just replicated the Fool Tarot in the last panel. Complete with the dog!
