Linus and Lucy stand outside, looking at the sky. "I wish it would rain so we could get this over with. I'm still afriad people will think I'm some sort of demon..I'd hate that." "Don't even think about it." <br> <br> They look at each other. Lucy offers, "Maybe they'll find some very practical use for you..." <br> <br> Charlie Brown walks up: "What in the world are you two standing there for?" Linus answers, "This is a scientific experiment, Charlie Brown." <br> <br> Lucy adds, "We think maybe Linus is a 'rain-stopper' so we're waiting for it to start raining again to find out once and for all." <br> <br> "Oh, oh! I felt a drop! It's starting to rain! This is it!! This is the big scientific moment!" Lucy holds out her hand. Linus and Charlie Brown looks up to see a light drizzle. <br> <br> It begins to rain. "Give it all you've got, Linus! Make it stop raining!" Lucy urges him. Linus holds his hand to his chin. <br> <br> It rains harder. "Hurry up! Say the words! Make it stop raining!" Lucy shouts. "Uh..." Linus begins. <br> <br> "Hurry up! Say it! Say it! Say it!!" Lucy throws her hands in the air and shouts in Linus's ear. Linus clutches his throat. <br> <br> It is pouring. Linus wails, "GO GO TODAY, RAIN SOME WAY AGAIN SOME DAY!" <br> <br> It is raining to hard to see the faces of the characters. Lucy says, "Oh, you blockhead!" <br> <br>
What a relief!!!
