"Linus is at table writing on a piece of parchment paper; on the floor are several books. <br> <br> Linus, Charlie Brown and Lucy are walking along the sidewalk, surrounded by snow. Lucy puts her hand up to her chin and says, “Oh, No!” <br> <br> The three continue to walk along as Lucy says; “ this is “Show and Tell” day at school, isn’t it? Rats! I forgot to bring something…” <br> <br> They stop and Lucy ask, “Did you remember that this was “Show and Tell” day, Linus?” Linus holds up a clasp envelope and says, “Yes, I have a couple of things here to show the class.. <br> <br> Linus starts to open the clasp envelope while saying to Lucy and Charlie Brown, “ these are copies I’ve been making of some of the Dead Sea scrolls…” <br> <br> Linus holds up the first scroll showing it to Lucy as Charlie Brown looks as well. Linus goes on saying, “ See? This is a duplicate of a scroll of Isaiah Chapters 38 to 40… It was made from seventeen pieces of sheepskin and was found in a cave by a shepherd…” <br> <br> Linus shows the next scroll as he says, “ Here I’ve made a copy of the earliest know fragment ever found… It’s a portion of I Samuel 23:9-16… I’ll try to explain to the class how these manuscripts have influenced modern scholars…” Lucy looks at it while putting her hand up to her chin; Charlie Brown has turned away and seems to rolling his eyes. <br> <br> Lucy says to Linus as he puts away the scrolls, “Very interesting…” Linus replies, “I thought it might be at least faintly appropriate to the season..” <br> <br> Lucy asks, “Are you bringing something for “Show and Tell”, Charlie Brown?” Charlie Brown turns and looks at Lucy and Linus. <br> <br> With a frown on his face Charlie Brown pulls out a small object from his pocket while saying, “Well, I had a little Red Fire engine here, but I think maybe I’ll just forget it.. <br> <br>" dialogue-text,"Linus is at table writing on a piece of parchment paper; on the floor are several books. <br> <br> Linus, Charlie Brown and Lucy are walking along the sidewalk, surrounded by snow. Reminds me of another Sunday strip where Linus sees elaborate works of art in the clouds and CB was going to say he saw a ‘ducky’ and a ‘horsey’ but he changed his mind:)
