"Here's a list of some plants which are dangerous for you to eat, Snoopy..." Charlie Brown reads off a piece of paper as Snoopy lies on his stomach on top of the doghouse.<BR><BR> "Elephant ear, Narcissus, oleander, burning bush, Jimson weed, Mountain laurel, Lily of the valley, rhododendron, spider lily and foxglove..." Charlie Brown reads.<BR><BR> "That's a shame.." Snoopy thinks as Charlie Brown walks away.<BR><BR> He lies on his back: "I had my stomach all set for a little foxglove.."<BR><BR>
Foxglove extracts are used to synthesise medicines used to stimulate weak heartbeats. Obviously eating foxglove plants is very dangerous as you could get enough of that same heart stimulant chemical in the plant to cause fatal heart arrhythmias.
