Peanuts by Charles Schulz for June 05, 1964
Transcript:
Linus romps. "SCHOOL IS OVER!" he shouts.<BR><BR> He walks behind Lucy and throws his arms up. "I've never been so happy in all my life!"<BR><BR> "I feel like a great burden has been lifted from my shoulders..." he smiles. Lucy watches him.<BR><BR> "What shoulders?" Linus rolls his eyes.<BR><BR>
This is another instance of Schultz poking fun at himself for his “shoulderless” characters. I love his self depreciating humor.
