    she’s doing it like some person is is dying and the medicine is being made like “hold on, just putting in the calcium, you will make it just being shaked up, here drink it” AAhh!!

    There obviously must have been SOME advancement in laundry, that was made at the time, though I don’t know what. I wouldn’t think, though, that people would have still used washboards then, not in 1964. Maybe it was fifty years ago, but still, it was not the nineteenth century.
