Lucy’s line in closing panel, plus Linus’ letter to TGP two days before, were also heard in a Peanuts musical from September 1976. Those, plus what Marcie would ask of Linus, on the day after Halloween in 1973,“Did the Great Squash ever show up?” (which always made Linus FURIOUS, of course—Marcie’s calling Linus’ Halloween hero by the wrong fruit or vegetable name). Usually, of course, she would say “Great Grape.” Anyway, interesting fact.
