I feel the need to comment for people under the age of 45. Tiny Tim was an eccentric singer, who sang in a falsetto voice to old songs like Tiptoe Through The Tulips, with which he hat a big hit. He married a woman named Miss Vicki live on The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson. It got the biggest ratings the show had received. It was a sham marriage as Tim was gay. I met a woman who dated him so he could be seen in public with girls. It wasn’t a real date. She was a lesbian with no sexual interest in Tim, and Vicki was also a sham, but singing stars weren’t allowed to admit they were gay back then.
