That dark-haired lass looks like she might be interesting . . . I'll approach her in the time-honored custom."<BR><BR> Snoopy stands in front of Lucy and smiles. He thinks, "How about a skate, sweetie?" Lucy shouts, "Get away from me, you stupid beagle!!"<BR><BR> Snoopy skates away and thinks, "I approached her in the time-honored custom, and I was turned away in the time-honored custom . . ."<BR><BR>
You should have KNOWN Lucy too well enough, by NOW, Snoopy, considering all the times she has beaten you down, with a BIG INSULT, like she did here. All you’re going to get, is a SLAP IN THE FACE Furthermore, I know Peanuts was just a cartoon, but still, makes you wonder just how Snoopy could go on calling Lucy “sweetie,” considering the countless times she has insulted him, by calling him STUPID, like here—VERY INSULTING, indeed.
