Charlie Brown lies on his back and thinks, "My stomach-clock just went off."<BR><BR> He sits up and looks off to one side. "Where is he?"<BR><BR> He lies on his back, thinking, "It's suppertime, and that stupid round-headed kid has forgotten to feed me."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown runs up with a full supper dish. He yells, "HERE I AM ! HERE I AM!" Snoopy lies on his stomach and hangs his head over the side of the doghouse, watching him.<BR><BR> Snoopy turns away. Charlie Brown sys, "I apologize for being ten seconds late..."<BR><BR> The dish is on the ground. Charlie Brown opens his arms and uges: "Well, come on down and eat!"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown frowns. "I know what it is you want me to say, but I'm not going to say it! I refuse!! It's ridiculous!"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown yells, "You can starve to death for all I care! I can be just as stubborn as you!"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown folds his arms and declares, "I'm not going to say it! I'm not!" Snoopy remains with his back to Charlie Brown. [PANEL 10]: "Oh, good grief! All right..." he sighs. Snoopy turns to look at him.<BR><BR> [PANEL 11]: "I also apologize to your stomach." Snoopy thinks, "That's better." [PANEL 12]: Charlie Brown walks away, saying, "I can't stand it." Snoopy buries his face in the supper dish: "Chomp chomp chomp..."<BR><BR>
In this particular case I just can’t see what would be morally wrong in letting the dog starve to death. Just leave the dish by the dog house and walk away, dude.
