Sally sits at the table and writes, "This is my theme on Memorial Day which I am writing on Monday because there is no school today."<BR><BR> Sally looks at the paper and writes, "Everyone is observing Memorial Day today so they can have a three day weekend and go water skiing."<BR><BR> Sally writes, "Which hasn't much to do with Memorial Day which is really tomorrow."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown looks over Sally's shoulder. Sally turns to him and says, "This is the sort theme where you get either an 'A' or an 'F'!"<BR><BR>
In 1971 Memorial day was moved from May 30th to the last Monday in May. Veterans day was also moved from Nov 11th to the 4th Monday in October but was moved back starting in 1978.
