Snoopy sits on the doghouse and reads a letter. Charlie Brown says, "You got a coded message from the head beagle?" Snoopy thinks of paw prints.<BR><BR> Charlie Brown asks, "Can you read it? Have you figured it out? What does it say?" Snoopy thinks, "I can't believe it . . ."<BR><BR> Snoopy hands the paper to Charlie Brown and thinks, "Thompson is in trouble!"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown looks at the paper and says, "Thompson?! Who is Thompson?" Snoopy thinks, "That stupid Thompson! He's done it again!"<BR><BR>
And Charlie Brown understood this how? Can he read the code? Because other strips have established he can’t hear Snoopy’s thoughts. Ah, the inconsistancies of the comics!
