Marcie and Peppermint Patty walk into the pumpkin patch. Marcie asks, "Sir, do you believe in the Great Pumpkin?" Peppermint Patty says, "The great what?"<BR><BR> Marcie replies, "Linus says there's a Grat Pumpkin who brings us toys on Halloween night."<BR><BR> Linus sits in the pumpkin patch. Marcie and Peppermint Patty stand beside him.<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty and Marcie walk away. Peppermint Patty says, "The world is filled with weird people, Marcie . . ." Marcie says, "I'm finding that out, sir!"<BR><BR>
Well,so is PP weird, but then, don’t forget, she had learned her lesson about letting her “superstition” get the better of her, seven years before(shortly after she had joined the strip.)
