Doctor Washington was an ophthalmologist . . . His best friend was named Bunker Hill."<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty points to her right and continues, "One day on the battlefield, Doctor Washington looked at Bunker Hill, and said, 'There's something wrong with the whites of your eyes!'"<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty smiles and says, "As a reward for saving his friends vision, the people voted to make Doctor Washington their coach!"<BR><BR>
The truth is that Washington DC is our nation’s capital and that Bunker Hill is a location in Massachusetts where a famous battle took place in June of 1775, where the British overwhelmed the colonial troops during the Revolutionary War.
