Lucy and Linus sit at the table. Lucy asks, "What are you doing?" Linus writes and says, "I'm preparing the wedding ceremony."<BR><BR> Lucy asks, "You're what?" Linus replies, "I think I'll use Genesis 34:9 as my text . . ."<BR><BR> Lucy says, "This is going to be some wedding! I've been asked to make a salad."<BR><BR> Lucy walks away and says, "Half the guests will be eating off paper plates, and half out of dog dishes!"<BR><BR>
The sons of Jacob answered Shechem and his father Hamor deceitfully, because he had defiled their sister Dinah. They said to them, “We cannot do this thing, to give our sister to one who is uncircumcised, for that would be a disgrace to us. […] And all who went out of the gate of his city listened to Hamor and his son Shechem, and every male was circumcised […] On the third day, when they were sore, two of the sons of Jacob, Simeon and Levi, Dinah’s brothers, took their swords and came against the city while it felt secure and killed all the males.
This raises many questions, such as the religion of Snoopy’s bride, the practice of circumcision for dogs, and where Snoopy stands on the issue…
