I guess that WOULD have been a disappointment to Marcie, for her friend to originally plan to get revenge on the hockey players(for both of them), and then change her mind, when the guys invited her to play center on their team(and I guess after they saw how TOUGH Patty can indeed be, when she wants to be.) But that would not have been an appropriate time, for Patty to take them up on such an invitation, not after the way the guys had treated her(and Marcie, for that matter.) So I can see why that would have been a disappointment, to Marcie, for Patty to let her down like that.
