He continues,"They are most commonly caused by the jar given the earth's surface when a fault occurs."<BR><BR> He sits up and continues,"Study of earthquakes helps us to learn more about the nature of the earth's interior."<BR><BR> He continues,"Everyone should know what to do if an earthquake occurs."<BR><BR> He continues,"The safest place to stand during an earthquake is in a doorway."<BR><BR> Snoopy looks over the edge at Woodstock standing in the doorway of the doghouse.<BR><BR>

INCORRECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The safest place is under a firm table or piece of furniture.

Not true. The safest place to stand during an earthquake is somewhere else, far away from the earthquake.
