Charlie Brown spreads his hands and smiles saying,"Home! I can't believe it!" He runs outside and says,"Snoopy?"<BR><BR> He walks up to Snoopy with his hands in the air. Snoopy is sitting atop the doghouse looking at him. Charlie Brown exclaims,"Hi, Snoopy! I'm home from the hospital!"<BR><BR> He says,"It seems like I"ve been gone forever..I sure missed you..."<BR><BR> He continues,"I used to lie there in the hospital at night worrying about you...."<BR><BR> He says,"Anyway, it's good to be back home."<BR><BR> Snoopy watches as he walks off smiling.<BR><BR> Snoopy puts his hand to his chin in thought. He thinks,"Now, I remember! He's that round-headed kid who always feeds me..."<BR><BR>
Schulz had two consecutive Sunday strips with weekday continuity in this arc. He must have planned it with a bit more care than usual because he had to submit the Sunday strips for syndication earlier than the weekday ones.
