Compared to about every other species, and even compared to many humans, i’d say dogs have a pretty good thing going for themselves.

Here is the difference between the ways dogs and cats think about people. A dog thinks, “This guy loves me, and feeds me, and pets me, and takes care of me. He must be a god.” A cat thinks, “This guy loves me, and feeds me, and pets me, and takes care of me. I must be a god.”
