Transcript:
Peppermint Patty holds a golf-club and looks at the ball in front of her next to the hole. She says,"Nice chip, Ma'am."<BR><BR> Marcie and Peppermint Patty walk on the green holding their golf-bags. Marcie says,"I'm glad this is the eighteenth hole, sir...." Peppermint Patty replies,"You should be!" They continue walking and she continues,"Every place I take you Marcie, you embarrass me!"<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty smiles and waves her hand saying,"Thank you, Mrs. Bartley." Marcie also smiles and waves her hand; she says,"Thank you, Mrs. Nelson."<BR><BR> The girls walk off with Marcie giggling and saying,"It was an understandable mistake, sir......!" They come upon Charlie Brown and Peppermint Patty points at Marcie and says,"Tell Chuck what happened, Marcie.....wait 'til you hear this, Chuck!"<BR><BR> They lean on a wall and Marcie turnst to Charlie Brown and says,"Well, we were caddying for Mrs. Bartley and Mrs. Nelson, see.....all of a sudden, another lady comes by with a real tiny little fuzzy dog....that's when it all happened....that's when she got so upset...."<BR><BR> She spreads her hands and continues,"'What are you doing with my dog?!' The lady screamed"<BR><BR> She concludes,"'I'm sorry, Ma'am,' I said....'I thought it was a divot so I replaced it!'"<BR><BR> As Marcie puts her hands to her mouth and giggles, Peppermint Patty grimaces and exclaims,"Every place I take her, she embarrasses me!"<BR><BR>
I think it’s a great story.
