Marcie sits at a desk writing a letter. She writes, "Dear Charles, Only one more day of camp. Then we can be together again."<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty writes, "Hi, Chuck! Tomorrow we go home. How about me coming over to see you?"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown sits with Snoopy writing a letter. He writes, "Dear Marcie and Patty, I won't be here when you get home."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown writes, "I have enlisted in the Navy for two hundred years." Snoopy's ears fly up.<BR><BR>
In “The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show”, it was actually Snoopy who typed the letter and suggested that he claim to have enlisted in the Navy for 200 years, to which Charlie Brown responds with his catchphrase, “Why can’t I have a normal dog like everyone else?”
