Sally slumps over a foot-stool with a book in hand and exclaims," Rats!" She walks over to Charlie Brown, who is sitting in a chair reading. He asks,"What's the matter?"<BR><BR> She looks at her book and replies,"I have to read this book for school by tomorrow."<BR><BR> She asks,'I don't suppose you'd care to read it to me, would you?"<BR><BR> He replies,"You know how to read....why don't you read it yourself?"<BR><BR> She says,"Reading takes effort..I hate to do anything that takes effort."<BR><BR> He says,"Listening takes effort too, you know..."<BR><BR> He rolls his eyes as she concludes,"I wasn't going to listen!"<BR><BR>
