Woodstock, Snoopy, and Charlie Brown stand on the snow outside a house wearing caps and holding shovels. The latter rings the doorbell.<BR><BR> Patty pokes her head out the door and Charlie Brown asks, "Shovel your walk?"<BR><BR> She replies, "All three of you?"<BR><BR> He points to the other two and responds, "I do the hard work..my assistant does the edges"<BR><BR> She points in front of her and asks, "What does the little guy do?"<BR><BR> Everyone turns and looks at Woodstock.<BR><BR> Charlie Brown replies, "When we're all done, he sweeps up the snow crumbs!"<BR><BR>
This Sunday strip is the last time the words “featuring Good ol’ Charlie Brown” appear in a Sunday strip (this was introduced in 1967). From Jan. 10, 1987 until the final Peanuts strip (Feb. 13, 2000), a new Peanuts logo will be used in the Sunday strips.
