Charlie Brown asks, "How are things in left field, Pigpen?"<BR><BR> Pigpen says, "I put burnt cork under my eyes just like the pros . ."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown says, "'Painting the lily,' huh?" Pigpen says, "Painting the what?"<BR><BR> Pigpen walks away and says, "Managers are always saying strange things . ."<BR><BR>
Seems like that phrase really came out of left field.
